In brief: Bora Além is a Portugal travel discovery app with a short preference quiz, destination suggestions, practical notes, trip planning and saved places. You can explore without creating an account. Recommendations are a starting point; verify travel details with local operators.

Why I built it

Living in Coimbra has taught me that a good Portugal trip rarely follows just one famous route. A village, a local festival or a quiet stretch of coast can change the whole day. I built Bora Além to make those possibilities easier to find.

The name means something like “go beyond.” Some places in the app are ones I know firsthand; others are researched and still need local review. Where available, a destination page shows how its description was prepared, and you can send a correction if you spot a mistake.

Browse and search destinations, or look at suggestions based on season, crowds, effort, access and the places you enjoy.

Plan around your dates, starting point and transport preference. Save places on your device to revisit while you decide.

Use a suggestion as the start of the journey

The app can help you compare places and plan a route, but travel times are estimates and local conditions change. Confirm public transport, driving routes, opening times and event dates before booking.
